A little care makes a difference

How should I burn a Milkhouse candle?

Trim cooled wicks to about 6 mm before lighting. Let the wax melt towards the jar edges, usually within 2–4 hours, and extinguish after no more than four hours. Follow the label for your particular candle.

Where should I place my candle?

Use a stable, heat-resistant surface away from draughts and flammable objects. Keep it away from children and pets, and never leave a lit candle unattended. Do not use the lid to extinguish it.

When should I stop using it?

Let the candle cool completely between uses and stop when about 13 mm of wax remains. Follow the product label and Milkhouse's candle-care guide.

How do fragrance melts work?

Use a suitable wax warmer and follow its instructions. Melts have no wick; an electric warmer offers a fragrance option without a candle flame. A tealight warmer still uses an open flame. Pack sizes vary, so check the selected product.
